Welcome to the Chess Party!
The Knight School Chess Team is your school's official chess team and chess party. The Knight School's approach has had amazing success -- winning multiple state championships -- because our unique and unprecedented educational philosophy, "the chess party," is the perfect way to transform a complete beginner into a devastating chess machine.
In this kid-centered classroom environment, we teach our kids every cool trick, strategy, and tactic in chessdom and our kids soon learn to love and master chess, their classroom, sports, and their home lives as well!
Upon enrollment, new students receive a chess set, chess bag, and all the colorful TactixBands they can earn!
Class meets in your child's school or online weekly for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Class does not meet when school is not in session or dismisses early.

This class is for Jaindl Elementary students only.
We will not meet when school is cancelled or not in session. Additional information will be emailed to you a few days prior to the first day of chess.
Students will be dismissed to the library at the end of their school day.
Parents will pick students up in the usual parent pick-up lot promptly at 5pm.

Participants must be entering grades kindergarten to 5.
Registration starts on 07/26/2026 and ends on 12/15/2026.
