Laughter, longer-clocks, and compelling teaching approaches make this class the week's highlight for the kids who make up an awesome advanced component of The Knight School's network of chess teams, Our curriculum is awesomely effective and the kids get devastatingly good at chess.
The Varsity meets weekly for one hour and 30 minutes.

Enrollment in Varsity almost always requires simultaneous enrollment in a school program, so please check with Coach Nicole for a discount code for 50% off this class when added to your weekly after-school program. This special advanced class also allows children who do not have access to a program at school and are excelling on their own to join our Varsity class if they are ready for this challenge.

Please read the monthly newsletter mailed to all enrolled families monthly, called The Knightly News, to stay informed of all the cool new things we are rolling out as well as important dates about tournaments, camps, etc.
Class will not meet Oct. 28 and Nov. 25.
Winter Break will be Dec. 23 - Jan 10
No class March 10
Participants must be 5 years and 6 months to 16 years old when the program starts.
Registration starts on 07/26/2026 and ends on 05/12/2027.
Participants may register at any time during this period.
